Ben Acevedo
Youth Minister
Ben is originally from Mission, TX where he grew up in a Christian household. He accepted Christ in his life at a church youth camp when he was 13 years old in Sacramento, NM. He studied at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, where he earned a BA and MA in Psychology. He then attended graduate courses at Baylor University before meeting his wife Tiara and moving to Dayton, OH for 3 years. In August 2024, Ben and Tiara moved from Ohio to Fort Worth so that Ben could pursue a MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, which he hopes to complete by Spring 2027. Ben has ministry experience with youth, college students, and internationals. He has been on several short-term mission trips domestically and abroad. He has also served with prison ministries and addiction ministries, and has a heart for pastoral care.
